Network+ ce is an intermediate skill level certification for IT technicians who can describe the features and functions of networking components and manage, maintain, troubleshoot, install, operate and configure basic network infrastructure. In addition, certification holders have a basic understanding of enterprise technologies, including cloud and virtualization technologies. Network+ ce is appropriate for computer network technicians, engineers, analysts and administrators. Although not a prerequisite, it is recommended that CompTIA Network+ ce candidates have at least nine months of experience in network support or administration or academic training, along with a CompTIA A+ ce certification.
CompTIA Server+ is an intermediate skill level certification for IT technical support professionals that certifies the technical knowledge and skills required to build, maintain, troubleshoot and support server hardware and software technologies. The certification focuses on server-specific hardware and operating systems as well as virtualization, disaster recovery and security procedures. Although not a prerequisite, it is recommended that CompTIA Server+ candidates hold a CompTIA A+ certification and has 18-24 months of IT experience.
The American Society for Quality (ASQ), Software Quality Engineer (CSQE) certification is for candidates who have an understanding of software quality development and implementation, software inspection, testing, verification and validation, and implementation of software development and maintenance processes. Candidates must meet education and experience requirements. Candidates must pass a written exam.
Cisco Systems, Inc., Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP) certification is an advanced network design certification designed for seasoned IT professionals with progressive end-to-end network design expertise. With a CCDP certification, a network professional can perform the conceptual, intermediate, and detailed design of a network infrastructure that supports desired network solutions over intelligent network services, to achieve effective performance, scalability, and availability. The CCDP certification is appropriate for Senior Network Design Engineers, Principle System Engineer, and Network/Solution Architects. The Cisco CCDP certification program focuses on advanced addressing and routing protocols, WANs, services virtualization, and integration strategies for multi-layered Enterprise architectures. Candidates seeking this certification must first hold valid CCDA and CCNA Routing and Switching certifications, or valid CCDA and CCNP Routing and Switching certifications, or any CCIE/CCDE certifications, and successfully pass three written exams.
Cisco Systems, Inc., Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) Routing and Switching certification validates the ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks and work collaboratively with specialists on advanced security, voice, wireless and video solutions. The CCNP certification is appropriate for candidates with at least one year of networking experience who are ready to advance their skills and work independently on complex network solutions. Those who achieve the CCNP certification have demonstrated the skills required in enterprise roles such as network technician, support engineer, systems engineer or network engineer. Candidates must hold an active CCNA Routing and Switching or any CCIE certification, and successfully pass three written examinations.
The Certified Linux Administrator (LPIC-1) is the first certification in Linus Professional Insitute's multi-level Linux Professional certification program. The LPIC-1 validates a candidate's ability to perform maintenance tasks with the command line, install & configure a computer running Linux and be able to configure basic networking. To obtain the LPIC-1 certification, a candidate must pass two exams in which the candidate should be able to work at the Linux command line, perform easy maintenance tasks (help out users, add users to a larger system, backup and restore, shutdown and reboot), and install and configure a workstation (including X) and connect it to a LAN, or a stand-alone PC via modem to the Internet. There are no experience or education requirements that must be met prior to taking the exam(s). This certification is appropriate for any IT professional using the Linux operating system and its associated tools.
The Linux Enterprise Professional Certification (LPIC-3) is the culmination of Linux Professional Institute's multi-level professional certification program. LPIC-3 is designed for the enterprise-level Linux professional and represents the highest level of professional, distribution-neutral Linux certification within the industry. To earn the LPIC-3 designation, candidates must hold an active LPIC-2 certification and pass one of the LPIC-3 specialty exams. Exams are available in Mixed Environment, Security, and Virtualization and High Availability. To pass an exam, a candidate should have several years of experience in many areas including installing and maintaining Linux on a number of computers for various purposes; integration experience with diverse technologies and operating systems; and be able to use open source tools to measure capacity planning and troubleshoot resource problems.
Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is a performance-based test that measures actual competency on live systems. The RCHE exam Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is an advanced level certification that demonstrates the knowledge, skill and ability required of senior system administrators for Red Hat Enterprise Linux systems. A candidate for the RHCE must first hold the RHCSA certification. There are no additional education or experience requirements.
The GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA) is an intermediate skill level certification targeted towards auditors who wish to demonstrate technical knowledge of the systems they are responsible for auditing. GSNAs have the knowledge, skills and abilities to apply basic risk analysis techniques and to conduct a technical audit of essential information systems. This certification is targeted toward experienced information security auditors and those who have information security management responsibilities. There are no prerequisites for the GSNA certification.
The Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) credential is a mid-career level credential for IT quality assurance professionals. Acquiring the designation of CSQA indicates a professional level of competence in the principles and practices of quality assurance in the IT profession. Candidates must have six years of experience or the equivalent experience and education as directed by QAI, and have recent work experience in the field. Candidates must pass a written examination.
The Certified Software Tester (CSTE) certification is mid-career level credential; the certification indicates a professional level of competence in the principles and practices of quality control in the IT profession. Candidates must have six years of experience or the equivalent experience and education as directed by QAI, and have recent work experience in the field.
Cisco Systems, Inc., Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Routing and Switching certification validates the skills required of expert-level network engineers to plan, operate and troubleshoot complex, converged network infrastructure. Candidates are encouraged to have three to five years of job experience. Candidates must pass a written qualification exam, which covers networking concepts and some equipment commands, and then must pass the corresponding hands-on lab exam, which tests the ability to configure actual equipment and troubleshoot the network in a timed test situation.
The GIAC Security Leadership Certification (GSLC) is an intermediate skill level certification for individuals with managerial or supervisory responsibility for information security staff. The GSLC certification covers topic areas including security management, cryptography, incident handling, web security and vulnerability management. There are no prerequisites for the GSLC certification.
The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) Security recognizes individuals who have the knowledge and skills to implement, maintain and support extensive Cisco Network Security Solutions using the latest industry best practices and technologies. Candidates are encouraged to have three to five years of job experience. Candidates must pass a written qualification exam, which covers networking concepts and some equipment commands, and then must pass a hands-on lab exam, which tests the ability to get a secure network running in a timed test situation.
Cisco Systems, Inc., Cisco Certified Entry Networking Technician (CCENT) validates the ability to install, operate and troubleshoot a small enterprise branch network, including basic network security. With a CCENT, a network professional demonstrates the skills required for entry-level network support positions - the starting point for many successful careers in networking. This includes networking fundamentals, WAN technologies, basic security and wireless concepts, routing and switching fundamentals, and configuring simple networks. The CCENT certification is appropriate for IT occupations including network and computer support technicians. There are no experience or education requirements that must be met prior to taking the exam.
Cisco Systems, Inc., Cisco Certified Design Expert (CCDE) is for expert-level network design engineers, expert-level network leads of IT infrastructure teams, and expert-level network leads of architecture teams working in job roles that require them to translate business needs, budget, and operational constraints into the design of a converged solution. There are no formal prerequisites for CCDE certification. Candidates are recommended to have at least 7 years of experience in Network Engineering or Advanced Network Design. Candidates must pass a 2-hour written qualification exam and an 8-hour practical exam. The written exam covers the topics of network design in the areas of routing, tunneling, Quality of Service (QoS), management cost, capacity, and security. The practical exam tests the candidate's ability to perform design analysis, justify design requirements, and develop a design implementation based on best practices. Only candidates that have a passing score on the CCDE Written Exam may register for the CCDE Practical Exam.
An Oracle database certification equips individuals to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and fine-tune all aspects of an Oracle database. Oracle certified database administrators keep an Oracle database environment running at maximum efficiency. The Oracle Database Administrator Professional (OCP) is the next step up in a database administrator's path that requires the passing of one or more exams as well as having to attend an instructor led course (or an online one). Candidates must have already passed the OCA exams to register for the OCP. There are no education or experience prerequisites, although it is an intermediate level certification.
An Oracle database certification equips individuals to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and fine-tune all aspects of an Oracle database. Oracle certified database administrators keep an Oracle database environment running at maximum efficiency. The OCM (Oracle Certified Master) is the top-tiered level of the DBA track. The Oracle Certified Master credential is for Oracle Certified Professionals with advanced training and are recommended to have at least 3 - 4 years of professional enterprise-level Oracle experience for Oracle Database 11g or Oracle Database 10g. To become an Oracle Certified Master a candidate must complete two required advanced DBA courses from Oracle University and pass an Oracle Certified Master exam. To be eligible to take the OCM exams a candidate must already have passed the Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Professional or Oracle Database 12c Administrator Certified Professional and have completed two approved advanced courses.
The Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security) is a mid-level certification that validates the ability to plan, implement, verify and troubleshoot local and wide-area enterprise networks and work collaboratively with specialists on advanced security, voice, wireless and video solutions. CCNP Security is aligned to the job role of a Cisco Network Security Engineer responsible for security in routers, switches, networking devices and appliances, as well as choosing, deploying, supporting and troubleshooting firewalls, VPNS, and IDS/IPS solutions. Candidates must have a valid CCNA Security certification, or any CCIE Certification to be eligible for CCNP Security, and must successfully pass four examinations.
A Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) certification is an entry level certification that measures actual competency via a performance-based evaluation of Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration skills and knowledge. Candidates must pass a realistic performance-based lab exam that evaluates his/her ability to: understand and use essential tools, operate running systems, configure local storage, create and configure file systems, deploy/configure/maintain systems, manage users and groups, and manage security. There are no education or experience requirements and training is available but not required.
The Oracle Application Grid 11g Implementation Specialist exam is primarily intended for implementation consultants who are using Application Grid products in field, and/or have completed OPN Application Grid Implementation Bootcamp or equivalent knowledge acquired through alternate training or on-the-job experience. The exam targets the advanced implementation team member.
The Oracle Application Integration Architecture 11g Certified Implementation Specialist knows how to install the Oracle AIA11g Foundation Pack and perform the tasks required to manage an Oracle AIA project. Preparation for this exam familiarizes candidates with using all the AIA components to quickly accomplish AIA based integration projects. Candidates should also be familiar with the Oracle SOA Suite11g capabilities and features. The exam targets the intermediate-level implementation team member. Up-to-date training and field experience are recommended.

Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Windows Server 2012 is a foundation level certification that validates an individual's mastery of the primary set of Windows Server 2012 skills required to reduce IT costs and deliver more business value. Earning an MCSA: Windows Server 2012 certification qualifies an individual for a position as a network of computer systems administrator or as a computer network specialist. Candidates must pass three exams related to installing, configuring, and administering Windows Server 2012. There are no experience or educational requirements that must be met prior to taking the exams, however, it is recommended that candidates have at least one year of experience implementing and administering Windows Server 2012.
The Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC), Certified Project Manager Certification (GCPM) is a mid-level certification designed for security professionals, project leads, and managers. The GCPM demonstrates an understanding of and the ability to lead project teams, technical project management methodology, and its implementation. The GCPM affirms the critical skill sets associated with making projects successful, including effective communication, time, cost, quality, procurement and risk management of IT projects and application development. There is no specific training required for the GCPM. Candidates must pass a written exam.

The CMSQ certification establishes a worldwide standard for the assessment of the capabilities and competencies of software quality assurance professionals that are working at, or soon will work at the software quality assurance management level. Acquiring the designation of CMSQ indicates a level of professional competence in both the principles and practices of software quality assurance, demonstrating the skills and capabilities necessary to manage the software quality assurance function. Candidates must have eight years of experience or the equivalent experience and education as directed by QAI, and currently work in the field. QAI strongly recommends that candidates, at the time of application, hold a Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) certification.
The Certified Associate in Software Testing (CAST) credential demonstrates a foundation-level understanding of quality testing principles and practices. Acquiring the designation of CAST indicates a professional level of competence in the principles and practices of software testing in the IT profession. Applicants must have three years of experience in the information services field or the equivalent in education and experience as determined by QAI. Applicants must pass a written exam to earn the certification and renewal is required every three years.
The Association for Information and Image Management (AIIM) Certified Information Professional (CIP) is an intermediate level certification that demonstrates knowledge in the field of content and information management. To earn a CIP certification, candidates must pass an exam covering six major domains. There are no education or experience requirements that must be met prior to taking the CIP exam; however, AIIM recommends that candidates have some experience or education prior to taking the exam.
The CompTIA Cloud+ certification validates the skills and expertise of IT practitioners in implementing and maintaining cloud technologies. CompTIA Cloud+ covers competency in configuration and deployment, security, maintenance, management and troubleshooting. It is recommended, although not required, that candidates have 24 to 36 months of work experience in networking, storage or IT data center administration, familiarity with any major hypervisor technologies for server virtualization, knowledge of cloud service model and deployment model definition, and hands-on experience with at least one public cloud platform.
The Adobe Certified Expert: Campaign Developer credential is a mid-level certification recommended for professional with a minimum of 3 year of specialized programming experience. Adobe recommends that this includes at least 3 years of work experience in SQL development including ETL, at least 3 years of scripting/programming experience (prefer JavaScript), a minimum of 3 years of Enterprise Software implementation, and a minimum 1 year experience working with XML and HTML. Professionals seeking this certification are able to deliver customized Campaign implementations that meet business requirements and customer needs. Applicants should be capable of articulating and conveying technical concepts to a mixed (technical and business) audience, and also have a basic knowledge of web service and project management. The certification does not expire, although ACE exams are continually evaluated and updated to ensure the content remains relevant.
The Adobe Certified Expert: Adobe Dreamweaver CC 2015 certification focuses on both key and new features of Dreamweaver CC. Typical candidates have 2+ years’ experience working with Dreamweaver on web projects and collaborating as a web designer/developer. Candidates have responsibility for architecting a site, designing page layouts, coding pages, and styling page elements with CSS. Candidates are familiar working with JavaScript behaviors and have the ability to publish sites via FTP transfers and are knowledgeable of web standards. Candidates can create and deploy pages that display in modern browsers across all screens and devices.
The Adobe Certified Expert: Adobe Illustrator CC 2015 Exam tests a candidate's knowledge of creating and editing vector graphics. This includes preparing graphics for print, Web, and mobile platforms. The typical candidate has over three years’ experience as a graphic designer or illustrator, with experience in conceptual design and creation of final artwork for print and interactive output. This candidate can efficiently create 2D illustrations, text treatments, and precise vector layouts. Candidates must pass a two part written exam.
The Adobe Certified Expert: Adobe Photoshop CC 2015 Exam focuses on both key and new features of Photoshop CC. The typical candidate has between 2 – 5 years’ experience using Adobe Photoshop in a digital imaging, digital publishing, and design environments. Candidates might be responsible for digital asset management, production, and execution of projects in the fields of (but not limited to): photographic art, advertising design, photojournalism, news and media production, social media, mobile, video, web, and 3-D.
The Adobe Certified Expert: Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2015 Exam focuses on both key and new features of Premiere Pro CC 2015. The typical candidate has over three years’ editing experience in a professional environment in an intermediate or senior-level position, and has produced output for internal or external clients. Job titles may include: Editor, Assistant Editor, Producer, and Social Media Producer.
The Adobe Certified Expert: Adobe Analytics Architect is designed for individuals who are currently performing or have previous work experience with the job responsibilities of an Adobe Analytics Architect. A typical candidate has a minimum 3-4 years’ experience analyzing and interpreting data as well as a basic understanding of JavaScript code. It is recommended that the candidate has at least three years of relevant field experience before testing.
The Quality Assurance Institute (QAI), Certified Associate Business Analyst (CABA) certification is for Software Business Analyst professionals who can effectively bridge the knowledge and language gap between the business and IT communities. CABA applicants should have a good understanding of the CABA Common Body of Knowledge (CBOK). Applicants must meet one of the following three eligibility requirement options: hold a 3-year degree or 4-year degree from an accredited college-level institution, hold a 2-year degree from an accredited college-level institution and have one year of experience in the information services field, or have three years of experience in the information services field. Applicants must also pass a written exam.
The Quality Assurance Institute (QAI), Certified Software Business Analyst (CSBA) certification is for Software Business Analyst professionals who can effectively bridge the knowledge and language gap between the business and IT communities. CSBA applicants must be working, or have worked at any time within the prior 18 months in the Software Business Analyst field and meet one of the following four eligibly requirement options: hold a 4-year degree from an accredited college-level institution and have two years of experience in the information services field, hold a 3-year degree from an accredited college-level institution and have three years of experience in the information services field, hold a 2-year degree from an accredited college-level institution and have four years of experience in the information services field, or have six years of experience in the information services field. Applicants must also pass a written exam.
The Cisco Certified Network Professional Collaboration (CCNP Collaboration) is for collaboration and unified communications network engineers who want develop advanced collaboration skills designing, deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco Collaboration and Unified communications applications, devices and networks, the Cisco CCNP Collaboration certification is a job-role focused training and certification program that will expand your skills and ability to deliver business value. Candidates must have a valid CCNA Collaboration certification or any Cisci CCIE/CCDE certification as a prerequisite. Candidates must successfully pass four exams to achieve certification.

Candidates are expected to have an in-depth understanding of the topics on the exams and strongly encouraged to have three to five years of job experience before attempting certification.
The Red Hat, Certified Architect (RHCA) is an advanced-level IT certification. RHCAs are Red Hat Certified Engineers (RHCE) or Red Hat Certified JBoss Developers who attained Red Hat's most advanced level of certification by passing and keeping current five hands-on exams on Red Hat technologies from the respective areas of expertise. Candidates who pass more than five are eligible to reach higher levels of RHCA. Red Hat requires that RHCA candidates pass prerequisite exams.
The Quality Assurance Institute (QAI), Certified Manager of Software Testing (CMST) certification is for software testing professionals currently working at the software testing management level. CMST applicants must meet one of the following three eligibility requirement options: hold a bachelor's degree from an accredited college-level institution and have four years of experience in the software testing field, hold an associate degree and have six years of experience in the software testing field, or have eight years of experience in the software testing field. It is recommended, but not required, that applicants hold an active QAI Certified Software Tester (CSTE) certification. Applicants must also pass a written exam.
The Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS) certification is ideal for candidates early in their Linux system administration or open source career. The exam consists of performance-based items that simulate on-the-job tasks and scenarios faced by sysadmins in the real world. Obtaining certification allows individuals to validate their skills to prospective employers, which is particularly valuable if you have little on-the-job experience. There are no pre-requisites for this exam. Candidates must pass an online, proctored, performance-based exam that requires solving multiple issues from a command line running Linux.
Cisco Systems, Inc., Cisco Certified Network Professional Service Provider (CCNP SP) certification is for service provider network engineers, systems engineers, and network specialists who are responsible for delivering a scalable carrier-grade infrastructure capable of rapid expansion to support ongoing introduction of new managed services and other customer requirements. Earning an MCSA: Universal Windows Platform certification qualifies an individual for such jobs as software developer and quality engineer. Candidates should possess foundational IT skills and must pass two required exams. There are no prerequisites to sit for the exams, but candidates typically have more than two years of experience developing Windows apps using C# and XAML, in addition to experience with WPF or Silverlight for Windows Phone.
The Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA): Web Applications credential demonstrates an individual's expertise at implementing modern web apps. Earning an MCSA: Web Applications certification qualifies an indidividual for a position as a web developer or web administrator. Candidates must pass either exam 70-480 or 70-483 with 70-486. Exams 70-480 and exam 70-483 require candidates to have one or more years of programming experience and exam 70-486 requires candidates to have a minimum of three to five years of experience developing Microsoft ASP.NET web applications, including two or more years developing MVC-based solutions.
The Adobe Certified Expert: Adobe InDesign CC 2015 Exam tests a candidate's knowledge of laying out and designing text, graphics, and cross-media for onscreen and print documents. The typical candidate can efficiently create and lay out an InDesign document for print or digital output. The candidate can manage the workflow for a team of entry-level production artists, can answer questions, and can suggest productivity enhancements. Adobe recommenda that a candidate have 2+ years of page layout experience, be familiar with most aspects of the program, and also have some experience with Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat Professional.
The Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD): App Builder credential validates an individual has the skills needed to build modern mobile and/or web applications and services. Earning an MCSD: App Builder certification qualifies an individual for a position as an application developer. Candidates must hold a MCSA: Web Application or MCSA: Universal Windows Platform certification prior to sitting for the required exam. Candidates must successfully pass one of the required exams to earn the MCDS: App Builder certification.
The AWS Certified Big Data – Specialty certification is intended for individuals who perform complex Big Data analyses. The exam validates an examinee’s technical skills and experience in designing and implementing AWS services to derive value from data. It is recommended that candidates hold an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or a current Associate-level certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate or AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate; have a minimum of five years hands-on experience in a data analytics field; and a minimum of 2 years’ experience using AWS technology.
