The Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) credential is a mid-career level credential for IT quality assurance professionals. Acquiring the designation of CSQA indicates a professional level of competence in the principles and practices of quality assurance in the IT profession. Candidates must have six years of experience or the equivalent experience and education as directed by QAI, and have recent work experience in the field. Candidates must pass a written examination.

Experience REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must either be working, or have worked at any time within the prior 18 months, in the field covered by the certification.
Education and/or Experience REQUIREMENTS
To qualify for candidacy, each applicant must meet ONE of four requirements listed below:
- A 4-year degree from accredited college-level institution and 2 years of experience in the information services field, or
- A 3-year degree from accredited college-level institution and 3 years of experience in the information services field, or
- A 2-year degree from accredited college-level institution and 4 years of experience in the information services field, or
- Six years of experience in the information services field.
