The Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP), Certified Safety Professional (CSP) is an intermediate-level credential for professionals who support workplace safety practices. Candidates are required to have professional experience that includes safety responsibilities. CSPs conduct worksite assessments, determine risk, measure hazards and controls, evaluate risk and hazard control measures, investigate incidents, maintain incident and loss records, and prepare emergency response plans. Candidates are required to hold a bachelor's degree in any field. CSP candidates must meet experiential requirements that relate to the field of workplace safety. Candidates must pass a written exam.

The Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM), Certified Hazardous Material Manager (CHMM) is an intermediate-level credential for professionals who manage hazardous material programs and projects. CHMMs are expected to have knowledge and experience of hazardous materials identification and handling in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, planning and preparing for and responding to hazmat emergencies and incidents, sampling and analysis (of air, water, soil, waste) for potential contaminants, and site investigation and remediation. Candidates for the CHMM are required to hold a baccalaureate degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university preferably with a major in hazardous materials management or a related field and have a minimum of four years of relevant experience in the field of hazardous materials management or a related field. Candidates must pass a written examination.

The Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM), Certified Records Manager (CRM) certification requires candidates to meet both educational and work experience certification requirements. A minimum of one year of professional records and information management (RIM) work experience is required, regardless of the level of education a candidate possesses. The minimum acceptable education is graduation from high school (completion of 12 grades) or equivalent (e.g., GED credential or equivalency diploma) in conjunction with five years of professional level RIM experience. The preferred qualifications are a college degree (four-year or bachelor’s degree) and one year of professional RIM experience. CRM candidates must pass a six-part written examination.

The Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) is an entry-level to mid-level professional certification recommended for government financial managers. The CGFM certifies an individual’s knowledge of governmental accounting, auditing, financial reporting, internal controls and budgeting at the federal, state and local levels. CGFM candidates must have at least two years of professional-level experience in government financial management. To take any of the CGFM examinations, candidates must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Candidates and those certified agree to adhere to the AGA's Code of Ethics.

The Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) is a mid-level certification appropriate for non-managers who work as public buyers. Individuals pursuing the certification demonstrate an ability to obtain the maximum value for the taxpayer's dollar. To pass the certification exam, applicants should be knowledgeable in the areas of procurement administration, sourcing, negotiation, contract administration, supply management and procurement planning. Applicants must hold an Associate's degree, have three years of public procurement experience, and have additional training in the area of procurement.

The Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) is an advanced skill level certification that demonstrates competencies for those engaged in governmental purchasing, and attests that a purchaser has reached a specific level of education and experience and is knowledgeable about government purchasing. Candidates must pass an exam that covers the following topics: administrative aspects of purchasing; sourcing; the negotiation process; contract administration; supply management; and strategic procurement planning. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree, five years of public procurement experience, and additional training and/or coursework in the area of procurement.

Renewal Period: 5 years

The Board of Certification Safety Professionals (BCSP), Occupational Hygiene and Safety Technologist (OHST) candidate performs occupational health and safety activities on a part-time or full-time basis.  The candidate's job duties will include worksite assessments to determine risks, potential hazards and controls, evaluating incident and loss records, and prepparing emergency response plans.  OHST candidate must work a minimum of three years in occupational hygiene or safety at least 35% of the time, have duties that require technical skills and knowledge in occupational hygiene and safety.  Candidate must pass a written exam.

The National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Certified Federal Contract Manager (CFCM) certification is for contracting professionals in both the public and private sectors who deal extensively with federal contracts and have a minimum of one year of experience. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution, one year of experience, and 80 hours of continuing professional education to be eligible for the CFCM certification. Candidates lacking the degree requirement who have 10 years of verifiable contract management experience may apply for a degree waiver.  To earn the CFCM certification, a candidate must pay the applicable fees and pass an exam.

The International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA) Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA) demonstrates an individual's ability and understanding of math and statistics principles with engineering, program management, procurement, budgeting and accounting disciplines. Cost estimating requires a solid foundation of cost knowledge woven together with a variety of cost experiences. The CCEA examination has two parts that combine to examine and assess an individual's cost knowledge, skills and abilities. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college a minimum of five years of cost experience, or eight years of cost experience without a degree.

The CHCM (Certified Hazard Control Manager) applies managerial techniques to eliminate or control unsafe and unhealthy conditions. It also deals with behaviors and other factors detrimental to people and property. The philosophy behind the CHCM is that safety and health administrators must understand and apply management principles in order to effectively manage hazard control programs. The CHCM is available at three levels: Associate, Senior and Master. A minimum of three years of experience is required at the Associate level.

The National Retail Federation (NRF), Customer Service and Sales Certification is an entry-level certification for professionals who provide customer support. The Customer Service and Sales Certification assesses candidates' core customer service skills that are applicable to a range of entry-level through first-line supervisory positions across the sales and service industries. The Customer Service and Sales credential is recommended for anyone interested in obtaining a job or pursuing a career in retail and other industries that value customer service skills. The certification exam measures candidates’ knowledge in the areas of products and services, customer needs, informing and educating customers, meeting customers' needs and providing ongoing support. Candidates must take a written exam.

The American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS), Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) is for individuals who possess the knowledge to understand and manage the integration and coordination of end-to-end supply chain activities. The CSCP takes a broad view of operations, extending beyond internal operations to encompass the entire supply chain, from supplier, through the company, to the end consumer. CSCP candidates must meet an experience, degree or credential eligibility requirement and pass a written exam.

The National Contract Management Association (NCMA), Certified Commercial Contract Manager (CCCM) certification is for contracting professionals who have education, training, and knowledge of the Uniform Commercial Code, and a minimum of 1 year of experience. Applicants must have a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution and 80 hours of continuing professional education (CPE). Non-degreed applicants with 10 years of experience may apply for a degree waiver. Applicants must pass a written exam.

As a Certified Hazardous Materials Practitioner (CHMP) your job encompasses more than just environmental protection, waste management, dangerous goods transportation, safety, or materials handling. Candidates must have at least 5 years of relevant experience with responsibilities directly related to the handling of hazardous materials and/or waste in the workplace; or, an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree from an accredited college or university in hazardous materials management, environmental science, environmental management, or environmental technology, plus 3 years of relevant experience as described above. Candidates must pass a written exam.

The Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) certification is for supply chain and procurement professionals with skills in areas such as finance, supplier relationship management, organizational global strategy, and risk compliance. Candidates must either have five years of full-time, professional supply management experience (non-clerical, nonsupport) without a qualified bachelor's degree or have three years of full-time, professional supply management experience (non-clerical, nonsupport) and must have a bachelor's degree. Candidates must also pass three written exams. Candidates who are Certified Purchasing Managers (CPMs) in good standing with a bachelor's degree only need to take a CPSM Bridge Exam.

The Certified Logistics Technician (CLTAE) recognizes individuals who demonstrate mastery of the core competencies of material handling at the front-line (entry-level through front-line supervisor). The goal of the CLTAE is to raise the level of performance of logistics workers both to assist the individuals in finding higher-wage jobs. The CLTAE consists of two parts: the foundational-level Certified Logistics Associate (CLA) certificate and the mid-level technical CLT certification. Before taking the CLTAE assessment, candidates must have a CLA certificate. MSSC strongly recommends that individuals be at an 8th-grade math and 10th-grade reading level.

The AACE International, Certified Cost Professional (CCP) certification is for experienced practitioners with advanced knowledge and technical expertise to apply the broad principles and best practices of Total Cost Management (TCM) in the planning, execution and management of any organizational project or program. CCPs also demonstrate the ability to research and communicate aspects of TCM principles and practices to all levels of project or program stakeholders, both internally and externally. CCP candidates must have eight years of industry related experience or four years of industry related experience plus a four-year industry related college degree. Candidates must also prepare, submit, and pass a 2,500 minimum word technical paper and pass a written exam.

Candidates must have a minimum of two years of work experience in Digital Advertising Operations.

Candidates must meet the minimum work qualifications of either part-time or full-time in an occupational health or safety (at least 35% of the job tasks related to management of safety related programs, processes, procedures, and/or personnel). Candidate's must have at least ten years of experience in occupational health or safety, and pass a written exam.
