Education/Training and/or Experience REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Secondary diploma (high School diploma, associate’s degree or global equivalent)
- At least 4,500 hours spent in the specialized area of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive years
- Total training of 40 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project risk management
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
- Four-year degree (bachelor’s degree or global equivalent)
- At least 3,000 hours spent in the specialized area of professional project risk management within the last five consecutive years
- Total training of 30 contact hours of formal education in the specialized area of project risk management
Other REQUIREMENTS
The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) credential has the following other requirements:
- Candidates must agree to uphold the Project Management Institute's Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.
