The Electronics Technicians Association, International (ETA-I), Certified Satellite Installer (CSI) certification is an entry-level professional credential for satellite installers. CSI candidates should have knowledge of satellite communications history and theory, satellite dish reflectors, cabling, amplifiers, Satellite System Installation-site surveys, satellite receivers-digital technology, interfacing with other consumer electronics equipment, transmission-internet systems, troubleshooting, repairs, sun outage, safety, and related information. Candidates must pass a written exam.
