Education and/or Experience REQUIREMENTS
Candidates with no formal education and 5 years of experience in the petrochemical industry are eligible to apply for the API 571 certification.
Option 2:Candidates with a High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in the petrochemical industry are eligible to apply for the API 571 certification.
Option 3:Candidates with a two-year technical degree and 2 years of experience in the petrochemical industry are eligible to apply for the API 571 certification.
Option 4:Candidates with a BS or higher in engineering and 1 year of experience in the petrochemical industry are eligible to apply for the API 571 certification.
