Holders of the GIAC Certified UNIX System Administrators (GCUXs) have the knowledge, skills and abilities to secure and audit UNIX and Linux systems. This intermediate level certification is targeted towards individuals responsible for installing, configuring, and monitoring UNIX and/or Linux systems. To obtain the certification, candidates must pass one exam. Training is available but not required. There are no education or experience requirements that must be met before taking the exam.
