Credentialing Agency: Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA)
The DoDEA Certification is an advanced-level professional license in the teaching field. Candidates must be educators who have completed two years of successful teaching experience with DoDDS. Candidates must have a baccalaureate degree from an institution accredited by a regional accrediting association, and must have completed an internship or student teaching. Candidates must also pass the required PRAXIS tests, Principles of Learning and Teaching (PLT), and Pre-Professional Skills Test (PPST). Participation in extracurricular activities is also required.
