A Certified Technology Specialist- Design (CTS-D) is an AV systems designer who assesses client's needs, designs AV systems and prepares AV design documents, by coordinating and collaborating with other professionals to create AV systems that satisfy clients' requirements. Applicants must hold current certification as a general CTS; must have signature agreement to the terms and conditions including the CTS Code of Ethics and Conduct; must be in good standing with the Certification Committee; and must provide documentation verifying a minimum of two years audiovisual industry experience in audiovisual design. Applicants must also pass an examination.
