Candidates must have an associate’s degree and six years of experience in healthcare privacy or security management.
Option 2:Candidates must have the AHIMA Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credential and a minimum of four years of experience in healthcare privacy or security management.
Option 3:Candidates must have a baccalaureate degree and a minimum of four years of experience in healthcare privacy or security management.
Option 4:Candidates must have the AHIMA Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential and a minimum of two years of experience in healthcare privacy or security management.
Option 5:Candidates must have a master's or related degree (JD, MD, or PhD) and two years of experience in healthcare privacy or security management.
