The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), Digital Media Buying and Planning (DBPC) certification is for digital media buying and planning professionals. Individuals who earn the certification have demonstrated their knowledge and competency in the content areas outlined in the DBPC Exam Blueprint, and are dedicated to upholding high standards of ethical and professional practice in the industry. Candidates must have a minimum of two years of work experience in Digital Media Buying and Planning; or one year of work experience in Digital Media Buying and Planning and a minimum of 10 hours of continuing education in digital media; or a minimum of 30 hours of continuing education in digital media. Candidates must have knowledge in areas including, collaborating on campaign briefs; creating media strategies; developing digital media plans; executing campaigns; managing campaigns; and educating stakeholders.

Education/Training and/or Experience REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of work experience in Digital Media Buying and Planning.
Option 2:Candidates must have a minimum of one year of work experience in Digital Media Buying and Planning and a minimum of 10* hours of continuing education or professional training in digital media; preferably Media Buying and Planning.
Option 3:Candidates must have a minimum of 30 hours* of continuing education in digital media; preferably Media Buying and Planning from an institute of higher education or professional training program.
*Note: 50 minutes equals one hour of continuing education/training
