The International Cost Estimating and Analysis Association (ICEAA) Certified Cost Estimator/Analyst (CCEA) demonstrates an individual's ability and understanding of math and statistics principles with engineering, program management, procurement, budgeting and accounting disciplines. Cost estimating requires a solid foundation of cost knowledge woven together with a variety of cost experiences. The CCEA examination has two parts that combine to examine and assess an individual's cost knowledge, skills and abilities. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college a minimum of five years of cost experience, or eight years of cost experience without a degree.

Education and/or Experience REQUIREMENTS
Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited college and five years of cost experience.
Option 2:Candidates that do not have a Bachelor's degree must demonstrate eight years of cost experience.
Written Exam Part I (PCEA)
Part I tests Foundation Knowledge and Practical Application. Part I consists of 60 multiple choice questions worth 1 point each. The applicant must pass Part I of the examination with an overallscore of 70% or greater to receive credit for the examination.

Written Exam Part II
Part II tests Advanced Analysis knowledge as well as knowledge applied in a Case Study. Part II consists of 48 multiple choice questions worth 1 point each and 2 short-answer questions worth 2 points each. The applicant must pass Part II of the examination with an overall score of 70% or greater to receive credit for the examination.
