Autodesk AutoCAD User Certification
Credential: Autodesk AutoCAD User Certification
Credentialing Agency: Autodesk
Renewal Period: Not Renewable
The Autodesk AutoCAD certification is for persons seeking to validate their knowledge of Autodesk software. Whether candidates are in manufacturing, civil engineering or architecture, Autodesk certification signifies their experience and expertise in using the AutoCAD software. Candidates may choose from the Certified Associate or Certified Professional certifications. The AutoCAD Certified Associate exam is an on-line examination that assesses knowledge of the tools, features, and common tasks in AutoCAD. Once the Associate certification is earned, candidates may choose to continue with the performance based Certified Professional exam. It is recommended that candidates for the Certified Associate exam have 50 hours of hands-on application of AutoCAD and candidates for the Certified Professional exam have 400 hours of hands-on experience. Candidates are certified on a specific release (year) of AutoCAD. Although certification for a particular version never expires, certification is not considered current unless the lastest exam has been passed.
