FAA- Repairman, Repairman certification is a mid-level certification required to perform specialize maintenance on aircraft, light sport and experimental. Aircraft repairman also work at aircraft repair stations licensed to perform additional aircraft maintenance and repair to all parts of the aircraft. Repairman ratings should coincide with the specialized skill or talent required from the person employed to perform the specific job. Have at least 18 months of practical experience in the procedure, practices, inspection methods, materials, tools, machine tools, and equipment generally used in the maintenance duties of the specific job for which the individual is employed and certificated. Individuals must pass a written exam.
