Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate
Credential: Oracle Database 11g Administrator Certified Associate
Credentialing Agency: Oracle Corporation
Renewal Period: Not Renewable
An Oracle database certification (Oracle Certified Associate - OCA) equips individuals to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and fine-tune all aspects of an Oracle database. Oracle certified database administrators keep an Oracle database environment running at maximum efficiency. The OCA is the entry-level certification in which candidates are expected to pass two exams, one related to SQL and one concentrated on database administration. An OCA is expected to have sufficient knowledge that will allow them to support database administrators or application developers in a somewhat junior role. There are no education or experience prerequisites. Training is recommended but not required.
More information can be found on the certifying agency's website.
