The Certified Photogrammetric Technologist certification is designed for technicians who perform or supervise technical photogrammetric tasks to extract spatial data from photographic or digital imagery and other remotely sensed data.Candidates must have a total of three years of experience, of which two are in a specialty category. Candidates must also submit four references rom persons knowledgeable of their work experience and personal conduct, declare compliance with the Code of Ethics of the ASPRS, and successfully complete a written examination following peer review and approval.

Experience REQUIREMENTS
A total of three years of experience are required, two of which must be as a Photogrammetric Technologist. An Associate, or higher education degree can be counted as one-half year towards total time.
Other REQUIREMENTS
The Certified Photogrammetric Technologist credential has the following other requirements:
- Four references must be submitted from persons knowledgeable of the applicant's work experience and personal conduct.
- Applicant must submit a non-refundable application fee. The Application includes a declaration of compliance with the Code of Ethics of the ASPRS.
