The Navy's Credentials Program Office (CPO) administers a voucher program that may pay for eligible credentialing exams, recertification fees, and maintenance fees for DON Civilians in the Cyber IT/CSWF. The Navy CPO does NOT fund for training, study materials, or exam preparation materials, and cannot reimburse credentialing exam fees for DON Civilian personnel.
The Navy's Credentials Program Office has a limited amount of certification/license exam voucher funds that may be used by DON Civilian Cyber IT/CSWF personnel towards specifically-identified certifications. These vouchers will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. In general, the Navy will pay for credentialing exam fees under the following circumstances:
- The credential has been approved for Navy funding;
- The DON Civilian Cyber IT/CSWF member meets eligibility requirements including that the credential is appropriate to their Cyber IT/CSWF Specialty Area assignment and is validated by their Command Cyber IT/CSWF-PM; and
- The DON Civilian Cyber IT/CSWF member has a minimum 1 year remaining on his/her employment at the time the credential is awarded.
